Insightful Support for Safer Communities

Specialized assessments, programs and education to manage risk vulnerability and trauma effectively

Our Mission

Insight Behavioural, Risk & Trauma Consultation exists to strengthen safety, understanding, and prevention capacity in rural and under-serviced communities, with a focus on supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and the families and systems around them.

The practice is dedicated to bringing specialized, experience-based expertise into complex situations involving trauma, behavioural risk, consent, and diversion—working alongside families, service providers, and community systems to support dignity, informed decision-making, and practical solutions that can be sustained in everyday settings.

Built for Supports Responsible for Safety and Program Implementation

We work with agencies, schools, supported living environments, and justice-adjacent pathways, our work aims to support safe, coordinated responses in complex situations.

Services strengthen staff confidence, environmental and community safety, treatment and support planning, particularly where teams must balance safety, rights, consent, staffing realities, and competing mandates. Engagements produce clear, practical strategies—including structured assessments, safety and treatment plans, staff training, and implementation guidance—that leadership and front-line teams can apply consistently in real-world settings.
